Helen Marie McAnallen, 80 of 3669 Rt. 488, Perry Township passed away surounded by her loving family, friends, and caregivers at Katera's Kove on May 17, 2012 at 3:40 P.M. Helen Marie was born in Mercer, PA on November 23, 1931 to the late Harry and Ida Rowe Magargee. She is survived by her husband, Raymond E. McAnallen whom she married on March 14, 1953. Along with her husband, they owned and operated the Quaker State Service Station and Country Store on Plesant Hill. She had also worked at Airway Lugage and Romar Textiles. She was a member of Wurtemburg United Metholist Church. Besides her husband Raymond, she is survived by two children and their spouses, Raymond and Beth McAnallen of St. Louis, MO, and Susan and Mark Carothers of Ellwood City, four grandchildren, Max and Hunter McAnallen and Maryann and Samantha Bell and a sister, Jessie Meade of Mercer, PA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Magargee. A Funeral Service will be held at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport on Monday, May 21. 2012 at 11:30 A.M. by her Pastor Jean A. Smith. Interment will follow in Plesant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Memorial Contributions can be made in Mrs. McAnallen's name to the Wurtemburg United Methodist Church.
