Jane R. Crowley

Jane Crowley, 93, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully in her residence on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 17, 1930, Jane was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence Gleason Robb.  Jane graduated from Carnegie Tech and then married Gerald Crowley on August 22, 1953.  She and Gerald spent sixty-six years together, including managing the day-to-day affairs of Gerald’s law practice.  Gerald preceded her in death in April of 2020.  Jane was an active member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church.  She and Gerald were members of the Connoquenessing Country Club, where they both enjoyed playing golf and bridge.

Jane is survived by her niece, Claire Fauzey, Claire’s husband Jonathan and daughters, Maura and Ella, of Ellwood city, her three nephews, Nevin and his wife Cathy, Bill and Gerry Robb of Pittsburgh, a great-niece, Julia Robb of Pittsburgh and many Crowley nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Nevin Robb.

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 5th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 6th at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Church.  Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Jane’s name to Divine Grace Social Services, 311 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
