William O. Ward

William O. Ward, 82, of Indiana Avenue, Farrell, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 7:05 AM. Born in Freeport, Pennsylvania on July 3, 1932, William was the son of the late Jesse and Lydia Hancock Ward. William worked early on as a coal miner in Black Lick, PA and later in the MCAR workshop in Hermitage. He enjoyed bowling and bowled for two community bowling leagues and the Special Olympics bowling team. Friends will be received on Friday, May 1st from 2:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM at Tomon Funeral and Cremation Services in the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State Street, Sharon. Interment will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
