Walter E. Mcclintick

Walter E. McClintick, 74, of Applewood Way, Wampum, passed away in his residence on Monday, November 28, 2016. Born in Ellwood City on October 30, 1942 in Ellwood City, Walter was the son of the late Raymond E. and Bette White McClintick. Walter married the former Kathleen Gebhardt in 1967 and she preceded him in death on September 12, 2012. Walter retired from Koppel Steel and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, crossword puzzles and going to flea markets. Walter is survived by his children and their spouses; Shannon Remler of New Galilee, Shawn McClintick of Enon Valley, Paula and Terry D'Amico of Ellwood City, Carrie and Richard Pander of Portersville, Ryan and Megan McClintick of Wampum and Erin McClintick of Ellwood City, two sisters and a brother-in-law; Dorothy and Bob Miller and Karen Fleeson, both of Wampum, a brother and sister-in-law, Tracy and Ruth McClintick of Ellwood City, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents and his wife, Walter was preceded in death by three sons; Mark, Brian and David McClintick and a grandson, Andrew McClintick. Services and arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
