Vido Tislaretz, Jr. 79 of formerly of Ellport passed away at Edison Manor in New Castle on November 20, 2009 at 9:25 P.M. He was born in Koppel on December 4, 1929 to the late Vido & Sophia Svarbic Tislaretz. He is survived by his wife the former Shirley M. Kramer whom he married on September 3, 1951. He had retired as a cement finisher. He was a veteran of the Army serving in Korea in 1952. Besides his wife he is survived by four children, Sheila & Bill Boy of Ellport, Michael Tislaretz of New Castle, Snookie & Phil Fava of New Castle and Frank & Shirell Tislaretz of Monaca. 8 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and a sister, Helen Gibbons of Ellwood City. He was preceded in death by a son, Rudy Tislaretz, a brother, Steven Tislaretz and 2 sisters, Anna Bridge & Mary Carsele At the request of the family there will be no service or calling hours. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory.
