Theresa S. (Koziar) Macmurdo

Theresa S. (Koziar) MacMurdo, 59, passed away after a long illness at her home in Farmingdale, NJ, on October 23, 2020. Theresa was born at Fort Dix, NJ on November 23, 1960, to the late John and Vittoria (Canziani) Koziar of Ellwood City.

She is survived by her siblings, Joanne Monroe of Farmingdale, NJ; Elaine Koziar-Jordan (Craig) of Tierra Verde, FL; Karen Craig (Ed) of Fort Mill, SC; John Koziar of Center Township, PA, and her nieces and nephew, Erica Jordan LeDeau (Phil), Leigh Ann "Rose" Craig, and Elijah Koziar. In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Koziar.

A graduate of Lincoln High School, Beaver County Community College, Upsala College, and the Somerset School of Massage Therapy, Theresa worked variously as a clerk, an office manager, an accountant, a sales-tax program implementer, and a massage therapist. She credited her high school job at J&T Frozen Custard with teaching her the importance of a job well done. In accordance with her beliefs, no services will be held during the Covid-19 pandemic. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport, and Theresa's family thanks them for their extraordinary care during this difficult time.
