Sharon Rae McQuiston, 65, of 941 Squaw Run Road, Wayne Township, passed away in her residence on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 8:50 AM. She was born on December 29, 1944 in Gary, Indiana to Donald and Norma Downey Grant. Sharon retired from the Franklin Township Recycling Center and was a member of Bell Memorial Church. A 1962 graduate of Lincoln High School, Sharon joined the Air Force after graduation and served as a medical aide. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting, reading, shooting pool, and spending time with her pets. Sharon is survived by her husband, Dell McQuiston, whom she married on March 27, 1976, her mother, Norma Maloney of Ellwood City, her daughter, Suzanne Cochran of Columbus, OH, and a sister, Bobbie Hrabosky of Ellwood City. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Grant, her step-father, Red Maloney, and a son, David. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
