Samuel B. Coast, 91, of 4464 Old Pittsburgh Road, Wayne Township passed away in his residence on Monday, April 27, 2009. Mr. Coast was born in EuClair, Pennsylvania on August 18, 1918 to the late James and Marie Urban Coast. He retired in 1988 from Fombell Fabricating where he was a machinist. A Veteran of the US Army serving in WWII, Samuel was a member of the Ellwood VFW Post 252 and the Hungarian Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars. Samuel is survived by three children: Sally Stiles of Tampa, Florida, Sammy Coast of Wayne Township and Kimberly Coast of New Castle, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a sister, Margaret Lutz of Ellwood City and a brother, Ralph Coast of Ellwood City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and Ronald Coast. Funeral Services were private. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements were handled by the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory.

We will all miss Sam, he was always there to talk to us when going to & from the Mailbox, tell us stories of the past, what is happening in the community, always a kind & caring neighbor, alot of fond memories.
