Rose Ann Galati

Rose Ann Galati, 90 of 630 Crescent Ave., Ellwood City passed away in Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 4:25 AM. Born in Vallelonga, Italy on October 10, 1925, Rose Ann was the daughter of the late Gregorio and Anna Pilleggi Suppa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Galati on April 19, 2001. They were married on May 24, 1945. Rose Ann was member of Holy Redeemer Church and its Christian Mothers. She was also a member of Corona D'Italia Lodge in Ellwood City. Rose Ann is survived by 3 children, Teresa and Thomas Krukenberg of Wayne Twp., Stephen G. and Sandra Galati of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Dennis J. Galati and his special friend Sandy Zavala of Webster, TX, 5 grandchildren, Rose Mary (Jeff) Schooler, Gregory V. Galati, Stephen Kyle Galati, Bryan Ross Galati and Kevin James Galati, 2 great grandchildren, Lauren Teresa Schooler and Brennen James Galati and a brother, Bruno and Margaret Suppa of New Castle. Besides her parents and husband Rose Ann was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Vincent, Domenick "Mimi" and James Suppa. Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday at 9:45 AM to form the Honor Guard. Contributions can be made in Rose Ann's name to the Ellwood City Area Public Library, the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund or to Americare Hospice, 1103 S. Mesa Drive, Mesa, AZ 85210.
