Ronald W. Polk

Ronald W. Polk, 71 of Rife Dr., New Castle, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 12:05 PM at the Everygreen Nursing Center in Harmony, PA. Born in Pittsburgh on November 28, 1944, Ron was the son of the late Anthony G. and Marjorie G. Bruder Polk. He was a transport service driver at the CSX Railroad yard. He as a AA member and a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are his 4 children, Sonya Thomas, Marissa Polk and Steven Polk all of Pittsburgh and Ronald Bagnato of St. Clairsville, OH, 2 sisters, Mrs. Larry "Barbara" Jacobs of Ellwood City and Mrs. William "Sandra" Hazel of Chicora, PA, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Polk. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lillyville Church of God in Ellwood City on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 1 PM with Rev. Dennis Arndt. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.
