Ronald A. Adams

Ronald A. Adams, 79, of Franklin Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Quality Life Services of New Castle.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 22, 1941, Ron was the son of the late Selmar and Chloe Wood Adams. Ron owned and operated the Zelie Kountry Kitchen for several years until his retirement in 1991 at which time he sold the restaurant to his son, Kevin. A Veteran of the US Army, Ron enjoyed woodworking and watching sports and Clint Eastwood movies.

Ron is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Charlene Adams of Franklin Township, his son Barry Adams of Harmony, his granddaughter, Megan Martin, his great-granddaughter, Ariana Adams, his sister, Barbara Sands of Arizona and his first wife, Betty Morrison of Butler.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Adams, his grandson, Kevin Adams and a brother, Selmar Adams.

At Ron's request, services were private and entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Memorial contributions can be made in Ron's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org .
