Robert W. Bacon, Jr., 62, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Robert was born on August 18, 1950 in Sharon, PA to the late Robert W. and Emma Delores Shuey Bacon. He worked at Hall Industries in Ellwood City as a mechanic and a truck driver. Robert was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed working on antique cars and motorcycles. He also enjoyed his dogs. Robert is survived by his children, Michele Zimmer and Mark Bacon, both of Ellwood City, 7 grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Biddle of Fostoria, OH, and Cheryl Bacon of Nashville, NC and two brothers and sisters in law, Russell and Betsy Bacon of Nashville, NC and Richard and Dee Bacon of Kinsman, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Andy Bacon, Sr. and a sister in infancy, Janet Bacon. Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 4th from 2-4 and 6-8PM in the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 4th at 8:00PM with Rev. Andy Russell.
