Patricia Elice Kinney Herman, 77, of West Middlesex passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at UPMC Farrell surrounded by her family. Patricia was born on January 23, 1936 in Waterloo, IA to the late Fay and Grace Miller Kinney. She moved to Miami, FL and graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1954. Patricia worked at Mrs. Brown's Gift Shop and Beaudines Department Store in South Miami. She then married Lawrence E. Herman on July 14, 1955 and moved to Farrell. She worked at W.T. Grants at the old Hickory Plaza, at the Farrell Hotel as a waitress and at the Salvation Army in Sharon. Patricia was a former member of the South Miami Baptist Church. She was an animal lover and she will be fondly missed by her family, her dog, Daisy and her many cats. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Linda DeVore, with whom she made her home and Debora Harvey of Sharon, two sons, Raymond Herman of Sharon and Gary Herman of El Paso, TX, five grandchildren: Evin and Tiffani DeVore, Autumn, Auguste and Michael Herman, two great-grandchildren, Taralynn and Michael Herman and two bothers, Ronald and Richard Kinney, both of Iowa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Herman who passed away on August 23, 2000 and her grandmother, Myrtle Miller. Services will be private. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Tomon Funeral and Cremation Services, 264 E. State Street, Sharon.
Such a sweet loving lady has now started the next journey in the circle of life. She is now free of all this life on earth has given her. She will be waiting for all who loved her. She leaves many memories for each one to remember she may be gone but never forgotten.
