Norma R. Sacco, 78 of 116 Hazen Avenue, Ellport passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on Friday, January 14, 2011. She was born in Ellwood City on December 12, 1932 to the late Frank A. and Mary Celaschi Androla. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Sacco on March 7, 2001. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and very active in the Christian Mothers of the Church. She always helped at the nut roll and perogie sales. She is survived by 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony Sacco of Ellport, James and Terri Sacco of Mars and Robert Sacco of Cranberry Twp., a sister, Enez Latsko of Rochester Hills, MI and 4 grandchildren, Brian, Mara, Rachel and Michael Sacco. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Norman, Ernest and Harold Androla. Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10 A.M. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Member of the Christian Mothers are ask to meet at the church at 9:45 A.M. Tuesday to form the Honor Guard.

My deepest sympathies to the Sacco boys and families. Norma has been a loving friend of the Nocera family for many years. She especially looked after my mother and dad with visits, lunches and a lot of love. You will be missed by the Nocera family. Thank you for being part of my life for so many years.

Just wanted to share our deepest sympathies with your family. We knew your Mom when I bowled with her on the church leagues before I moved to North Carolina. She was a wonderful freind, and shared many recipies with me that I still use, hugs and prayers to all of you.
