Norma Jean Prengaman, 78, of Fombell, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian.

Born in Ellwood City on October 16, 1957, Norma was the daughter of the late Norman Cearfoss, Sr. and Delpha Scheidemantle Cearfoss. Norma was a 1975 graduate of Riverside High School. She married Lee Prengaman on March 31, 1988, and they enjoyed thirty-six years together, until his passing in January of 2024. Together, Norma and Lee owned and operated Southern Comfort Trucking and spent the better part of thirty years traveling between Portersville and Key West, Florida. Norma enjoyed traveling and taking motorcycle trips and she loved all different kinds of music. Her most important job was being her daughter Amy’s constant support for thirty-eight years.

Norma is survived by three sons, Bill Prengaman, Andy Prengaman and Ted (Greg) Prengaman, her sister, Sharon Taranto (Scott Forney), her brother, Norman Cearfoss, Jr. (Becky Williams), five grandchildren, Ben, Lincoln, Wes, Grace and Chance, her niece, Haley Antoniotti and nephews, Joe Taranto and Mike Taranto and her life-long best friend, Becky Winfield.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Norma was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Starr Sullivan, her sister, Susan Antoniotti and brother-in-law, Alex Antoniotti.

A Celebration of Norma’s Life will be held at a later date.
