Norma L Maloney

Norma L. Maloney, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born in Harvey, IL on March 16, 1928, Norma was the daughter of the late Archie and Alice Nelson Downey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Maloney, on August 10, 1992. Norma had worked as a secretary at Ryman Engineering and later as a cashier at Giant Eagle. Norma was a member of the Hungarian Home, she enjoyed playing bingo and traveling.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Bobbi (William) Hrabosky of Ellwood City, 5 grandchildren, James (Lynn) Hrabosky, Beth (Mike) Bates, Lori (Dave) Cindrich, Tim (Brianne) Hrabosky and Suzanne (Stacy) Cochran and 6 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon McQuiston, a brother, Dean Downey and 2 sisters, Greta Allbritten and Joan Gauthier.

Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2 PM to 5 PM. A Blessing Service will be offered at the Funeral Home on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10 AM. Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
