Michele J. Griggle, 69 of Portersville went to heaven in peace after a short battle with ALS on February 17, 2012. Born in Pittsburgh on December 20, 1942 she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis S. (Frankie) Griggle. She retired from UPMC Passavant after 21 years of service as a unit secretary and nurses aide. Michele is survived by her four children, Terri L. Duff of Ellwood City, Lori A. and David Pierson of Pittsburgh, Stephen J. & Carrie Griggle of Butler and Michael F. and Erin Griggle of Ellwood City, 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Also surviving very close to her heart, William and Denise Street, Brea and Robert Tekac, Brandon and Kristen Street and many nieces and nephews Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gary Duff. An Irish Wake will be held for Michele at the Ellwood City Elks Lodge, 408 Lawrence Avenue on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 1 P.M.
