Mary L. Kalcevic

Mary L. Kalcevic, 101, of Ellport, passed away at Allegheny Health System, Wexford, on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Beadling, Allegheny County on April 14, 1920, Mary was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerite Leymarie. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Louis V. Kalcevic. He passed away on March 30, 1990. Mary worked a US Steel during World War II and later worked at Montgomery Wards in Ellwood City. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and worked in the school cafeteria. Mary was a member of the Christian Mothers and enjoyed working in the kitchen during the church bazaar. She was also a member of the Ellport Ladies Auxiliary. Mary is survived by her daughters, Elaine (William) Edmonds of Leechburg, PA and Margo (Stephen) Christy of Ellport, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Edward and Louis Leymarie and a sister, Agnes Zikeli. A celebration of Mary's life will take place at a later date.
