Mary Louise Hite

Mary Louise Hite, 87, of Muddy Creek Township, passed away at Grove City Hospital on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Born in Elkins, West Virginia on August 3, 1938, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Marvin and Madeline Haun Daniels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald William "Bill" Hite on June 7, 2015. They were married on March 3, 1956. Mary Lou had worked at several Giant Eagles as the "sample lady" where she enjoyed meeting and talking to people. She was a member of North Hills Church of Christ. Mary Lou enjoyed playing Scrabble, reading books, doing puzzles and crocheting afghans and scrubbies for her family and friends. In the last few months she liked playing with her new puppy, Misty.

Mary Lou is survived by her 4 children, M. Marie and Steve Corzine of Jackson, MO, Donald W. and Karen Hite, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Gary P. and Sherrie Hite of Conneaut, PA and Melissa L. Caughey of Muddy Creek Township, a sister, Linda Weight of Oregon, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Mary Lou was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul Daniels and James Daniels.
