Mary Kay Downing

Mary Kay Downing, 63, of Wurtemburg Road, Wayne Township, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center. Born in Ellwood City on October 13, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Earl and Naomi Cupps Badger. She married Thomas G. Downing on August 13, 1977. Mary Kay was a member of the Wurtemburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Thomas, at home, daughter, Sharon Downing of Rochester, PA, son and daughter-in-law, Thomas B. and Amy Downing of Ellwood City, daughter and son-in-law, Kezia and Robert Durbin of Ellwood City, two grandchildren, Reese and Brian Downing, two sisters, Ruth Perrino of New Castle, Sharon Pastorius of Ellwood City and two brothers, David and Timothy Badger, both of Engelwood, FL. In addition to her parents, Mary Kay was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Badger, Jr. Friends will be received on Saturday, December 3rd from 7-9 PM and Sunday, December 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. S. Bruce Mould of Monaca United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Mary's name to Uplift International, P.O.
