Maraline T. May

Maraline T. May 66, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Heritage Valley Beaver preceding a long illness. Born in Bristol, PA on February 18, 1956, Maraline was the daughter of the late Joseph H. May and Mary Theresa (Hullihan) May Barberio. Maraline graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Microbiology. She worked at Montefiore Hospital as a Research Technologist from 1989 to 1992. She was transferred to West Penn Hospital where she worked as a Lab Technologist until 2004. Maraline is survived by a daughter, Marissa T. May of Wexford; one sister, Regina E. (Craig) Tilhou of Virginia Beach; one granddaughter, Mia Theresa of Wexford; nephew, Jack P. Tilhou and niece, Brooke E. Roper both of Virginia Beach; and her companion, O.J. Newman of Ellwood City. In addition to her parents, Maraline was preceded in death by her stepfather, Joseph J. Barberio and brother, Joseph R. May. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:30AM at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church; 417 4th Street, Ellwood City, with Father Mark Thomas, celebrant.
