Laura Kloos, 76, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026 at UPMC Jameson, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 2, 1949 in Ellwood City, Laura was the daughter of the late Carl and Lena D'Ambrosia Latimer. She retired from UPMC Jameson where she worked in healthcare administration. Laura loved to cook and garden. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and fishing.
Laura is survived by her children, Dawn Frishkorn Fabian of New Castle, PA, Daniel Frishkorn of York, PA and Carrie Frishkorn Cipperly of Hagerstown, MD, two sisters, Dorothy McManus and Joan Fredrick, and a brother, Carl Latimer, all of Ellwood City, ten grandchildren; Randy (Kalee) Fabian, Emily (Trevor) Fabian, Amanda Cipperly, Nathan (Giselle) Cipperly, Sarah (Dom) Nordin, Jessica (Hank) Garrison, Joseph Frishkorn, Jennifer Frishkorn, Julianna Frishkorn and Jonathan Frishkorn, nine great-grandchildren; Evelyn Holmes, Emery Cipperly, Cameron Nordin, Ava Nordin, Remington Garrison, Mattis Garrison, Lucas Garrison, Oxlie Havens and Autumn Havens.
A Celebration of Laura's Life will be held at a later date.
