Kevin James Adams

Kevin James Burns, 66, of Franklin Township passed away at his residence on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Born in Belle Vernon, PA on January 17, 1960, Kevin was the son of the late, Robert and LeVerne Peaco Burns. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Bronowicz Burns. Kevin was retired from Allegheny County Roofing where he worked as a roofer. A fan of the FAN, Kevin was a avid Pittsburgh sports fan, he follows the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. He also loved rock'n'roll. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family where his wonderful sense of humor was appreciated.

Kevin is survived by his son, Kevin John Burns, his companion and best friend, Sparky, 6 sisters, Maureen and Tom Uhler of Pittsburgh, Colleen and Scott Rodgers of New Brighton, Karen Abramson of Butler, Pamela and Robert Duncan of Saxonburg, Charlene and Kevin Adams of Franklin Township and Sherri and Mike Stewart of Ellwood City, 3 brothers, Robert and Laura Burns of Deltona, FL, Bill Burns of Oak Hill, FL and Terry and Laura Burns of Myrtle Beach, SC, and brother-in-law, Michael Joyner of Edgewood, FL.

Besides his parents and wife, Kevin was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Joyner, 2 brothers, Micky Burns and Tommy Burns in infancy, a nephew, Kevin Adams and his companion, Shania.

Friends will be received at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 from 4:00 PM to the time of a Blessing Service at 7:00 PM.
