Kaitlyn N. Francis

Kaitlyn Nichole "Kait" Francis, 17, passed away in her residence on Monday, January 28, 2019 after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Pittsburgh on June 6, 2001 Kait is the daughter of Jason and Brittany Lilly Francis. Kait was a member of the Lincoln High School class of 2019. A member of National Honors Society and honors graduate, Kait wanted to become a pediatric oncology nurse. While at Lincoln, she was a member of Club Hope, Spanish Club and Ellwood City Culture Club. She also enjoyed playing rec league softball.

In addition to her parents, Kait is survived by her sister and best friend, Brianna Francis, at home, her grandmothers, Rhonda Blythe and Dawn Lilly, and two uncles, Jordan DiMuccio and Scott Lilly, all of Ellwood City. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Francis and Arthur Lilly, Jr.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 1 ^st from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, February 2 ^nd from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Pastor Elizabeth Wallace of Wampum Presbyterian Church will officiate.
