Joseph G. Beringer

Joseph G. Beringer, 69, of Bridge Street, Ellwood City, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 8:30 PM in the Oakland VA Hospital. Joseph was born on December 30, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph W. and Julia Kuruna Beringer. He married the former Brigitte Rath on October 5, 1963. He retired from Hall Industries as a supervisor and was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish. Joseph was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1960-1966 and receiving a Purple Heart for service in Vietnam. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters and a brother, Ruth Scheller, Judy Sousa and William Beringer, all of Pittsburgh. Services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avene, Ellport.
