Joellen Kay Whitlatch

Joellen Kay Whitlatch, 64, of 1435 Brown Road, North Sewickley Township passed away unexpectedly in her residence on Sunday, September 7, 2014. Born in Ellwood City on February 11, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel Irene Gibbons Hulick. Joellen married Thomas Whitlatch on May 19, 1970. She was a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School. Joellen enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially loved visiting her grandchildren. Joellen is survived by her husband, Thomas Whitlacth, her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Matt Stephenson of Davidson, NC, her son, Dr. Joseph Whitlatch of Atlanta, GA, her grandchildren, Reese and Rylee Stephenson, and two sisters, Michelle Stabryla of North Sewickley Twp. and Pamela Shanor of Chewton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Ronald O'Donnell and a sister, Joyce O'Donnell. Services were private. Memorial contributions can be made in Joellen's name to the Ellwood City Area Public Library, 415 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
