Janet Huzinec

Janet Huzinec, 94, of Border Avenue, Ellwood City, passed away in her residence on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 8:58 AM. Born in Toledo, Ohio on December 31, 1920, Janet was the daughter of the late Arthur and Viola Holladay Restid. She married Frank Huzinec on June 9, 1956. Janet was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses who very much enjoyed her ministry work. In the 1940's Janet served as a missionary. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and bird watching. Janet is survived by her husband, Frank Huzinec, and a son, Randy Huzinec, both of Ellwood City. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by a son, Timothy F. Huzinec, two brothers; Arthur Restid, Jr. and Charles Restid and a sister, Francis McMillan. All are welcome to attend the memorial service for Janet on Saturday, May 30th at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 317 Route 288, Ellwood City. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.

My heartfelt condolences to you Uncle Frank and also to Randy. I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Janet was always so kind and sweet. She was a good woman. Please know I am with you grieving for both the loss of Janet and your brother Steve. So sorry.
