Helen M. Shoaf

Helen M. Shoaf 83 of 1280 Cherry Hill Rd., Ellwood City passed away February 24, 2011 at 3:12 P.M. in the Good Samaritan Hospice Home in Marshall Township. She was born in West Pittsburg, PA on February 27, 1927 to the late Paul and Darlie Ann Galbreath Voland. Helen is survived by her husband, Raymond W. Shoaf whom she married on February 15, 1949. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Thomas and Carol Shoaf of Ellwood City and Ronald and Patti Shoaf of Beaver Falls, 4 Grandchildren, Brook Balin, Bradley Shoaf, Kristin McKelvey and Michael Shoaf and 4 Great Grandchildren, Dylan Shoaf, Kyleigh McKelvey, Doug and Grace Balin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eltamerle "Toots" Singloub and 2 brothers, Bert and Harry Voland. A Memorial Service will be held at Edgewood Baptist Church on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Michael Coleman and Rev. Jim Hockenberry. Helen's family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday from 1 to 3 P.M. Contributions can be made in Helen's name to the Building Fund of Edgewood Baptist Church, 430 Edgewood Rd., Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory.
