Gerald "Jerry" D. Boots

Gerald "Jerry" D. Boots, 51, of Boots Lane, Perry Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2015. Jerry was born on June 20, 1963 in Ellwood City to Norman and Helen Frishkorn Boots. He married the former Julianne Stoops on September 6, 1997. Jerry was a 1982 graduate of the Auto Body Program at Lawrence County VoTech. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to be outside; whether he was hunting, fishing, boating, camping or riding his motorcycle. Jerry also enjoyed farming. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry is survived by his wife, Juli Boots, and his children, Jerry and April Boots, all at home, his parents, Norman and Helen Boots of Ellwood City, a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Mike Sinclair, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Theresa Boots and Timothy and Nora Boots, all of Ellwood City and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, April 20th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Friends will also be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 21st from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley of Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
