George J. "Boke" Bokor, Sr., 69 of 417 Spring Ave., Ellwood City died at UPMC Passavant Hospital on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1:55 P.M. He was born in Ellwood City on March 30, 1940 to the late John & Martha Kovecsi Bokor, Sr. He is survived by his wife the former Judy Listorti whom he married on July 22, 1967. He retired from the B & W in 1987 after 29 years of service and Koppel Steel in 2000. He was a veteran of the Army and was a member of the Ellwood Hungarian Home. Besides his wife Judy he is survived by three children, George J. & Luann Bokor, Jr., Christopher Bokor and Johanna Boariu all of Ellwood City, 2 sisters and a sister-in-law, Martha Pocza of Ellwood City, Goldie & Edison Black of Grove City and Jackie Bokor of New Castle and 7 Grandchildren, Kayla, Joseph, Geoffrey & Geordan Bokor, Michael Rue, Broc & Brady Boariu. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Bokor, Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11 A.M. by Fr. Lou Pascazi. Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. Family suggests Memorial Contributions can be made in Mr. Bokor's name to the Angel Fund at Holy Redeemer School.
