Frank Huzinec

Frank Huzinec, 90 of Northview Estates, Ellwood City passed away at the Oakland VA Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 7:56 AM. Born in Canton, Ohio on May 3, 1926, Frank was the son of the late George and Betty Dzamka Huzinec. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, the former Janet Restid who died on May 26, 2015. They were married on June 9, 1956. Frank had retired from Babcock and Wilcox in Koppel and was a Jahovah's Witness. He was a veteran of the Army serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Frank enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening and his ministry work. Surviving is Frank's son, Randy Huzinec of Pittsburgh. Besides his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Frank Huzinec, 4 brothers and 4 sisters, Steve, Michael, George, John, Marie, Julia, Ann and Betty. All are welcome to attend a Memorial Service for Frank at Kingdom Hall of Jahovah's Witnesses, 317 Rt. 288, Ellwood City on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 3:30 PM. Interment was in Slippery Rock Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory.
