Frances Loccisano, 90, of Downingtown, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Wellington Terrace in West Chester. Born in Ellwood City on December 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Concetta Folino Adamo. She married Dominic W. Loccisano on October 26, 1939 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2003. Mrs. Loccisano was a 1938 graduate of Lincoln High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Downingtown. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and John Maxwell of Downingtown, 5 grandchildren: Lisa Amburn, Kena Crume, Lt. Col. Jason Vranes, Kelsey Cirka and Colin Maxwell, 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Pascal Adamo of Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Vranes in 2008 and a son, Nicholas Anthony Loccisano in infancy. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Church with Fr. Mark L. Thomas. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Mausoleum in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Loccisano's name to either the Simpson Meadows Caring Friends Fund, 101 Plaza Dr., Downingtown, PA 19335 or Safe Harbor, 20 N. Matlack St., West Chester, PA 19380.
