Erwin M. Tondt

Erwin M. Tondt, 78, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at UPMC McCandless.

Born in Poland on August 29, 1942, Erwin was the son of the late Otto and Berta Pekrul Tondt. After Otto passed away unexpectedly, Erwin was raised by his step-father, Fred Class. Erwin retired from INMETCO where he worked as a supervisor. He married the former Norma Follett on August 26, 2006 and they both enjoyed playing pool when they were able. He was also a member of the Hungarian Home.

Erwin is survived by his wife, Norma, a son and daughter-n-law, Jeff and Doreen Tondt of Stroudsburg, PA, a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Bob Ramella of New Castle and five grandchildren: Justin, Jessica, Joshua and James Tondt and Anthony Ramella.

In addition to his parents, Erwin was preceded in death by his first wife, Loris Tondt.

Services for Erwin were private and entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
