Doug, I know we didn't see much of each other through the years but you always were on the top of my mind. I love you so much. When I would call over mom and dads and you would answer the phone and you would get so excited..."Suuuusan" just made my day and when we we go over to mom and dads and you were there and again I would get the "Suuusan" it just made my heart flutter..And the when we were eating you would break into song...whether it was Amazing Grace, Yellow Submarine or my favorite...CCCCC sixteen through the walls through the window. I'm going to miss it Douglas and I'm going to miss you sooooo much. I'm so sorry I didn't get the chance to spend more time with you I hate that so much. Please know that you meant the world to me and I'll never forget you ever. I love you so much Doug..Rest in Peace my sweet brother.

Dougie loved pictures. It wasn't difficult to find a few of him. We are heartbroken over his passing but we will always remember our youngest cousin with loving memories.

I was Douglas's one-on-one at Passavant for the last 4 years. I am deeply saddened for his family and his extended family at Curtis Drive. He touched us all with his charm and honesty, a photo album in his hand and a song in his heart.
I had the pleasure of spending this past weekend with Douglas and took this last picture of him on Sunday (Aug 16).
Heaven will be a special place for Douglas. For him, everyday will be 'Thanksgiving and Christmas'.

To Duane, Ralphetta, Sue, and all who loved Doug-
My heart is heavy knowing the grief you must feel. I pray that you will find comfort in the sweet memories you have of Doug and knowing that others hold you close in prayer. I regret terribly that we have let life put distance between us, but know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. That will never change, I love you all.

I can't thank you enough for all the memories and joy you have blessed each of us with. We love you so much and you will be missed very much. You definitely made this world a much better place. It needs more people like you who only look at the good in everything and in everyone. I will never forget you. I love you & miss you forever and always! Love, Nicole

Mom, Dad, Sue and family,
Even though I did not know Douglas personally, I did know him through Sue.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I want to send all my prayers and my love to you all.
Nothing can take away your pain. Hopefully knowing the love that Douglas had for you will pull you through this horrible time.
