Dorothy A. Wilson, 80 of Portersville Rd., Perry Twp. passed away at her residence on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 2 pm. Born in Pittsburgh on March 31, 1935, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ora May Bailey Collins. She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Wilson whom she married on July 16, 1955. Dorothy was self employed, she owned and operated Dorothy Wilson Tax Service for many years in Perry Twp. Earlier in her career she worked for H &R Block. She was the former secretary of the Perry Twp. Sewer Authority for over 20 years. Dorothy was a former member of The Ellport Homemakers and Ellwood City Art Club. A gifted painter and avid reader, Dorothy enjoyed doing needlework, mostly tatting and crocheting. Besides her husband Paul at home, Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Vickie A. and Mark Zeigler of New Castle and Paulette L. Fullington of Triangle, VA, 3 grandchildren, Shawn M. Shaffer, Amberlea Schiebel and Catlin Schiebel and 2 brothers, Millard and Leona Collins of Pinellas Park, FL and William and Fay Collins of Portersville. Dorothy was preceded in death by her Parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jake McCommons and a son-in-law, Albert Shaffer. Private Funeral Services were offered by Rev. Elizabeth Wallace, Pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church in the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Her family suggests memorial contributions can be made in Dorothy's name to the Ellwood Area Public Library.
