Dianne L. Cortez

Dianne L. Bair Cortez, 56, of Ellport, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at UPMC Mercy. Born in Ellwood City on July 15, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Howard C. and Dorothy Evans Bair, Sr. Dianne was a 1977 graduate of Riverside High School. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and spending time with friends and family, but most of all, she loved spending time with her sons and grandson. Dianne is survived by her sons, Jeffrey A. Cortez of Ellwood City and Tyler R. Cortez of Ellport, a grandson, Sidney Michael Cortez, four sisters; Barbara Weingartner of Norfolk, VA, Bonnie and Bill Timblin of Ellwood City, Linda and Ken Kemp of Ellwood City and Debbie Bair of Rochester, a brother, Howard "Pete" and Rita Bair of Florida and a sister-in-law, Gudrun Madder of Beaver. In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by a brother, Harold C. Madder, Jr. Friends will be received on Thursday, December 10th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:00 PM with Rev. John H. Phipps of Concord United Methodist Church.
