Dean W. Vinroe, 58 of 31 Portersville Rd., Ellwood City died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 8:37 A.M. at his residence. Dean was born in Ellwood City on January 17, 1952 to the late Dale and Fern Smith Vinroe. He is survived by his wife, the former Gail McCullough whom he married on October 7, 1989. Dean was the Maintenance Director at Holy Redeemer Cemetery from 1993. He was Presbyterian by faith and was a 1970 grad of Riverside High School. He was a veteran of the Army and a life member of Del Mar golf course. Dean also enjoyed hunting. Besides his wife, Gail Vinroe, Dean is survived by a son, Sy William Vinroe a student at IUP, a sister, Debbie and Joe Macri of Greenville, PA, a brother Dale and Beverly Vinroe of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, a sister-in-law, Lynn Vinroe of Centerpoint, WV and several nices and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Darryl Vinroe in 2002 and Dennis Vinroe in 2009. Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10 A.M. by Fr. Mark L. Thomas. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

We are so sorry to hear about Dean. He was always good to the kids an I, he was a good person and will be missed by alot of people.
my sympathies to the Vinroe family over the loss of Dean...he was a great guy and I always enjoyed talking about steelers and pens with him....may Dean find joy in Heaven and may he rest in peace.
