David D. Moffatt

David D. Moffatt, 72, of Ellwood City, passed away at his residence on Monday, May 6, 2024. Born in Ellwood City on June 19, 1951, David was the son of the late Donald and Betty Hinkle Moffatt. He is survived by his former wife, Cynthia Faraoni Moffatt of New Castle. David was an auto body repairman at Freeman Buick and Pontiac and at his own shop. He was also employed at Ellwood Iron and Wire. David enjoyed restoring and collecting cars. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and casinos but most he enjoyed the time he had with his grandchildren. Besides his former wife, David is survived by his three children, Michael (Erin) Moffatt of New Port Richie, FL, Zachary Moffatt of Ellwood City and Kerri Doyle of Beaver Falls, two grandchildren, Katarina Moffatt and Jackson Moffatt and two brothers, James (Debra) Moffatt of Prospect and Shawn (Lisa) Moffatt of Portersville. David was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donald Moffatt and a nephew, Richard Pistorius. Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
