D. Glenn Campbell

D. Glenn Campbell, 89 of Northview Estates, Ellwood City, passed away in his residence on Monday, October 15, 2018.

Born in Chewton on May 14, 1929, Glenn was the son of the late Lloyd and Fannie Kurtz Campbell. He married the former Dorothy Ippolito on June 21, 1947 and she preceded him in death on November 27, 2016. A member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Glenn retired from US Steel.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and John DeThomas of Ellwood City, a son-in-law, Jeff Shablesky of Ellwood City, five grandchildren; David Shablesky, Thomas Shablesky, Melissa Cade, Margie Linville, Elizabeth DeThomas, five great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert (Marlene) Campbell of Manassas, VA.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Shablesky.

Private interment will take place at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
