Cynthia G. Grant, 61, of 1132 Hickernell Road, Perry Township passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside. Born in Ellwood City on July 30, 1952, Cynthia is the daughter of Barbara Hozick Hairhoger of Ellwood City and the late Joseph E. Hairhoger. Cynthia was a 1971 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a member of Calvin UP Church. Cynthia enjoyed crafting and she loved the outdoors. She loved gardening and tending to her landscaping. Cynthia also enjoyed her dog, C.C. Cynthia is survived by her husband, William H. Grant, whom she married on November 20, 1993, a daughter, LesLee Hoppe of FL, three step children and their spouses, April and Dave Lindner of Monaca, Charles C.J. Grant and Jen Neal of Washington, PA, Kandi Grant of Washington, PA, six grandchildren; Aiden Linder, Halley and Gavin Grant, Jessica, Jennifer and Judd Hoppe, five sisters and their spouses; Karen and Richard Figurel of Chewton, Diana and Dean Shallenberger of Ellwood City, Barbara Jo and Michael Gagliardi of Boca Raton, FL, Shirley Rae and Tom Moore of Palm Bay, FL, Kimberly and Sam Grant of Ellwod City and her mother in law, Genevive Rocco Grant. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father in law, Charles Grant. Friends will be received on Saturday, December 28th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM on Saturday following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Cliff Reynolds.
