Clifford T. Kruger, 73, of 526 Deemer Ave., Ellport passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Ellwood City Hospital Emergency Room surrounded by his family. Born in DuBois, PA on July 20, 1939 he was the son of the late Clifford and Serie Fagerstrom Kruger. He married the former Ann Redmond on February 28, 1963. Clifford retired from Ellwood Quality Steel in 2005 where he was a craneman. He was Lutheran by faith and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Clifford served as a Pennsylvania State Trooper from 1960-1965. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Ann Kruger at home, five grandchildren: Jessica Bellian, Mellisa Kruger, Tabatha Mesko, Richie Kruger and Ray Kruger, 7 great-grandchildren and a nephew, Richard Sierzega. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Kruger, his siter, Doris Sierzega and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Sarah Redmond. Friends will be received on Saturday, January 5th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 5th at 8:00 PM with Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley of Trinity Lutheran Church.
