Clarence E. Kingston

Clarence “Barn” Kingston, 88, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at UPMC Jameson in New Castle.

Born in Ellwood City on July 14, 1937, Clarence was the son of the late John and Ida Belle Hogue Kingston. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Carol L. Bable Kingston on May 14, 2023. They were married on May 11, 1962. Clarence was a veteran of the Army serving from 1961 until his discharge in 1964. He was a 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School. He enjoyed hunting and was a master of all trades, doing woodwork, working on cars and fixing things around the house. Clarence was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church. He had retired from Calgon where he worked in the maintenance department.

Surviving are his 4 children, Kimberly and David Williams of Saegertown, PA, Amy Ottaviani, Edward Kingston and Steven Kingston all of Ellwood City, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a brother, Larry and Carol Ann Kingston of Ellwood City.

Besides his parents and wife, Clarence was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Patrick Ottaviani, a daughter in infancy and 3 brothers, Mervin Kingston, Geary Kingston and Randy Kingston.

Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for a Celebration of Life for both Clarence and Carol.

Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
