Clarence "Hank" A. Burson, 78 of Beaver Falls, formerly of Marietta, SC passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 1:17 PM at Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center. Hank was born on February 6, 1933 to the late Arthur N. and Sarah Edna Measel Burson. He married the former Sonya Freed on February 14, 1987. He retired from the Anchor Fire Safety and Equipment Company in Greenville, SC. Hank enjoyed hiking and he loved to read. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Jackie Romans and Joanne Wolfe, both of FL, and Jennifer Bagley of NJ, six step-children, Wandah Barkley of AL, Timothy Barkley, James Ruby and Michelle Teague, all of SC, and Meri Caye Dewhirst and Robert Taylor, both of PA, 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Marjorie Snipes and Leona Fritizus, both of FL, a brother, Nelson J. Burson of SC and three half sisters, Sandra Allison of New Castle, PA, Ruth Eisenhuth of SC and Beth Toth of LA. In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Brewer. Services were private and arrangements were handled by the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
