Christine Elaine Emerick

Christine Elaine Emerick born December 23 1950 in Nashville Tennessee passed away peacefully on October 31 2026 at her residence with her loving husband of 57 years by her side.

Chris, as everyone knew her, had many talents, cooking a Thanksgiving dinner without burning something was not one, but her greatest talent was being a grandma (Bob) to her 4 beautiful grandchildren Novaley, Ryleigh, Cooper and Carson. She loved her grandkids more than anything in the world and even got the chance to share that love with her first great grandchild.

She also enjoyed going to car cruises, the Rochester Vets club with her husband and their many, many friends and spending time surrounded by the people she loved. She will be dearly missed but her love and spitfire attitude will live on forever.

She leaves behind her family, who she loved so very much, including the love of her life, her husband, John, whom she married on October 18, 1969 after meeting in a Medicine Shop in Nashville TN. Her son Buddy (Katie) Emerick of Ellwood City, daughter Ashley (Doug) Skillman of Fombell, 4 grandchildren Novaley (Zach) Lewis, Ryleigh Emerick, Cooper Emerick and Carson Emerick, great grandchildren Waylyn Jane Lewis and baby boy Lewis (who she was very, very excited to welcome into the family in a couple months). Her brother Jerry and Beth Callis of Florida, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Randy (Barb) Emerick of Fombell.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Margaret (Maggie) Callis, a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Wayne Jackson and her mother & father-in-law, John and Carol Emerick.

Per Chris’ wishes there will be no services although there may be a Celebration of Life in the future for family and friends.
