Cecelia A. Oliver

July 22, 1936 — December 16, 2022

Cecelia (Teets) Oliver passed away on December 16, 2022, at her home at the age of 86. She lived most of her life in North Sewickley Township. Preceding her in death were her parents, Theodore and Dorothea (Thompson) Teets; her daughter, Loretta; her sister and brother-in-law, Myrna and Bill Howman; her sister, Patty (Joe) Woloszyn; and her stepmother, Ruthene Kocher Teets.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Oliver. God blessed her with a wonderful family. She cherished all of them. Survivors include her children and spouses: Richard and Mary Jo Oliver, James and Amy Oliver, and Vicky and Ron Caldwell; her grandchildren and spouses: Jennifer and Jim Pollock, Mitchell and Emily Oliver, Kathryn and Michael Halpin, Ted and Grace Oliver, Jacob and Sarah Oliver, Kristen and Josh Gentry, Zachary and Amy Oliver, Steven Caldwell, Kevin and Kelly Caldwell, Emily and Scott Gwin, and Sarah and Grant Klever; her great-grandchildren: Cooper and Sofie Pollock; Lydia, Peter, Isaac, Nathaniel and Julia Oliver; Skye and Luke Halpin; Zeke, Jane and Ruby Oliver; Gabriel, Lucas and Hannah Oliver; Brady and Bridget Daniel and Laurel Gentry; Jackson, Lily, Emmie and Annie Oliver; Emma Caldwell; Kearsten, Kelcie and Oliver Caldwell; Violet, Loretta and Ruby Gwin; and Jesse, Allie and Henry Klever.

She is survived by a brother, Dennis Teets; sister-in-law and her husband, Eleanor and Paul Carver; and brother-in-law and his wife, Norman and Veronica Oliver. Cecelia was a member of the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church, a former employee of Geneva College and volunteered many years with Meals-on-Wheels.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 19th from Noon until 1:00 PM at the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will follow directly after the visitation at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bob Goossen, celebrant.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church: 106 Chapel Dr., Ellwood City, PA 16117. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
