Catherine Pauline Weihaus-Farkas

Catherine P. Weihaus-Farkas, 82, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Care Center in Mars, PA. Born in Monaca, PA on June 29, 1932, Catherine was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Harmaciji Zachodni. She was Catholic by faith. Catherine is survived by her children; Mary Kay Franklin of Ellwood City, Martin (Gail) Weihaus of Chippewa Twp., Lisa (Sam) Duncan of Ellwood City, Linda (Tom) Kohlman of Beaver Falls, Robert (Lori) Weihaus of Fombell, a sister, Nancy Kohlman of Beaver, a brother, Michael (Lula) Zachodni, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Weihaus and her second husband, Louis Farkas, Jr., 2 sisters; Eleanor O'Neil and Mary Piontek and two brothers; John Zachodni and Frank Zachodni. Services for Catherine were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.
