Carrie E. Chapman, 73, of Leeper, PA, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away at UPMC Hamot in Erie on Monday, June 2, 2025.
Born in Ellwood City on May 22, 1952, Carrie was the daughter of the late Wallace and Sophie Krestel Eppihimer. She is survived by her husband, David A. Chapman whom she married on July 8, 2006. Carrie retired from the HR Department at VEKA. She attended Victory Family Church in Cranberry. Carrie enjoyed the outdoors, especially her garden, her flowers and walks in nature. She loved to go on walks and hunt with her loving husband. Carrie was a prayer warrior and spent time in her Bible along with morning daily devotions with her husband. She was a faithful member of her Life Group to which she was loved by all.
Besides her husband, Dave, Carrie is survived by her two sons, Steven W. Partridge of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and William D. and Sarah Partridge of Ellwood City, a grandson, Luke Partridge and her brother, Amos T. and Deanne Eppihimer of Chippewa.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy, David Eppihimer.
A Memorial Service for Carrie will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prospect on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Ben Oesterling. Burial will be in Mountville Church Cemetery.
