Carol Klingensmith, 76, of Shenango Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Butler Hospital surrounded by her family members. Born on October 14, 1947 in Meadowville, West Virginia, Carol was the daughter of the late Hobert an Rosalie Anderson Moore. She is survived by her husband, James H. Klingensmith, whom she married on June 24, 1964. For 50 years Carol along with her husband were amateur ham radio operators. She had worked at Red Hot in Ellwood City for over 20 years and previously worked at Romar Textile. Carol loved bingo, crafting but mostly spending time with her grandkids. Besides her husband James, Carol is survived by her 3 children, Kimberly (Ron) Hummel of New Brighton, James (Susan) Klingensmith, Jr. of Ellwood City and Timothy (Elva) Klingensmith of New Castle, 2 sisters, Brenda L. (Steve) Shreve and Dianna L. Schlemmer both of Ellwood City, 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara J. Malcolm and three brothers, Roger L.
