Carol Jean Schuster

Carol Jean Carver Schuster, 74, of Shenango Township, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born in Ellwood City on April 4, 1952, Carol was the daughter of the late William and Irene Welsh Carver. She married Daniel Schuster on April 28, 1973. Carol was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln High School. She worked at the Folino Agency as a secretary and then as a pharmacy technician at K Mart in Lawrence Village Plaza. She loved horses and horseback riding, the ocean, and her annual trips to Wildwood, New Jersey. Most of all, she loved her four grandsons.

Carol is survived by her husband, Daniel Schuster, her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Lia Schuster of Ellwood City, four grandsons; Reid Ketzel, Logan Ketzel, Daniel Schuster and Luke Schuster, her brother and sister-in-law, William and Joan Carver of Mars, PA, her niece, Laura (Kelly) Slagle of Poland, OH and her sister-in-law, Lona Schuster of New Castle, PA.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Cori Ketzel and her sister, Shelley Carver.

At Carol's request, there will no services.
