Ann Volsko, 93, of Brookfield, OH passed away on Friday, November 22nd at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport, CT on December 31, 1919 she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Dirga Andras. Ann married George Volsko and he preceded her in death in 1988. Ann worked at Sharon Steel during WWII. She was a member of St. John's Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church. Ann was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and she also enjoyed sewing. Ann is survied by two nieces, Dorothy Pacinda of Hermitage and Georgia Andras of Poland, OH, a nephew, Bob Andras of Hermitage, a great niece, Carolyn Roth of Brookfield, OH and two great nephews, Gary Roth of Masury, OH and Michael Andras of Prosper, TX. In addition to her parents and her husband, Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, George and John Andras and a sister, Susan Trescilla. Friends will be received on Monday, November 25th from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM at St. John's Orthodox Church, Hermitage. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th at 12:00 PM at St. John's Orthodox Church with Fr. David Mastroberte and Proto. Michael Polanichka, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will follwo in St. John's Orthodox Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Ann's name to the St. John's Building Fund. Arrangements were entrusted to Tomon Funeral and Cremation Service.
